Nutritional Value of Dates
Dates are recognized as an excellent source of a wide range of nutrients, including fiber, calcium, phosphorus, iron, potassium, vitamin A, and niacin. A fat-free food, dates contain no sodium or cholesterol.

Dates also contain potassium which helps regulate blood pressure, and magnesium – vital for bones, muscles and the heart. They are the only fruit which contain phosphorus. Dates are extremely nutritious. They contain more natural sugar than any other fruit and deliver a substantial amount of dietary fibre and potassium, as well as providing many vitamins and mineral salts.
